I have the driver side bed step PT392-35100 installed on my truck. I’m looking for the passenger side one. I’ve searched the forums and all of google with no luck. The exhaust pipe doesn’t look like it would interfere with a bed step. Anybody know if the mirror opposite of PT392-35100 exists?

    Drivers side
Red circle is where the exhaust would be on passenger side, red vertical line is edge of part (EOP), double arrow is distance from exhaust to EOP.

    Passenger side
Two red circles are mounting bolts where driver side was installed

I could have sworn I saw AMP research made them for both sides originally.

So it’s been 3 weeks since I contacted them and here’s what I’ve gotten so far.

    1. Their website actually leads you to Lund International which doesn’t really answer for AMP Research. They did give me phone number for AMP customer line which I called.
    2. AMP customer service said he’d have to send a request to engineering to consider the new product but engineering was way too busy with other projects and bed steps are a small product that doesn’t get a lot of attention.
    3. Even if engineering would consider looking at the proposal, there would need to be a business need to get it started. The guy said somewhere of around 1000 units to show enough interest and that even just a guess.

Do you guys think there that much interest in this?

I won't speak for other people. But personally, this doesn't interest me at all...why would I need another bed step? Even if I had two, I can only stand on one at a time...I just don't see the point, other than symmetry.

I saw a post somewhere that said they would not fit due to exhaust. I do not personally know.

I guess I wanted the option of going up on the bed from either side if one side was blocked or easier to tie down from one particular side.

I originally wanted the passenger side bed step because of how i parked my truck against my garage door. Now that its parked in the garage, the driver step is fine with me.

After getting our new KIMBO camper (incidentially...awesome). we need to have the passenger step due to the way the door on the camper opens. Anyone got great ideas...We have looked at those sticking out the hitch but this really looks like a better option.

I only put the step on for my wife's benefit. I would rather it have been on the right side.
