So I went on vacation and my truck was parked at a lot , when I came back 7 days later I got in my truck and the check engine light AND the trac light came on , the cruise control doesn’t work either! I went to oreillys AND autozone and the codes that read were for Knock sensor ? Is this an easy fix? Has this happened to anyone? I need help

What specific codes were pulled? There should be a little more information to help you figure out what you need. Do you have a V6?

Probably mouse chewed the knock sensor wiring. If you verify that, turn it in on your comprehensive insurance. It’s a fairly big job to fix.

Thanks for all the reply’s , I don’t think it’s rodents , the code was P03333 I think and it showed up 3x on the computer , there is no knock in the engine and it sounds good but like I said the CEL is on and th trac light is on , cruise control doesn’t work and when I drive it will not go into OD for some reason , I would hate to go buy a knock sensor and that not be the problem though , ugggg

Dang after watching that link it sure sounds like that could be the problem , it would just be strange because I was parked in a city parking garage for a week and my truck is so high up but looks like I’ll need to look at the wiring for sure
