Can anybody help me out w a diagram of a (any) steel aftermarket bumper for my 2019 trd sport taco.

I’m designing my own bumper and need to know the measurements to bolt on. I can’t seem to find anything online.

NOT TRYING TO RESELL OR ANYTHING JUST TO MAKES THINGS CLEAR. ITS A PERSONAL PROJECT

Can you take off the OEM bumper and measure it?

Like they say...u can find anything online. I haven’t been able to find any diagrams w measurements.

I can do that but in a way i like how most of those bumpers r built as far as how they sit against the stock bumper so if I can find those measurements I’ll b able to better cad the design and mess around w how I want it to look also to be easy to send to get cut n for me to weld.

Are you talking about the front or rear bumper? That would be a great place to start.

Secondly, telling you the bolt mounting pattern is about the very tip of the iceberg. If you're not willing to get your hands dirty to measure your own bumper, I can't see this project getting off the ground.

OP, no disrespect but I'm curious...

You first made it very clear you're not trying to sell anything.

You ignore suggestions to measure the truck yourself.

You're going to design this bumper in CAD then send it off to be built.

You either have an idea for a bumper and no mechanical aptitude (which is perfectly fine) or you don't own a Tacoma and want to design a bumper for another reason (which is fine) or you're 12 (which is fine!)

    What gives brother!

Others have done a mock up bumper of cardboard and tape, seriously. A good place to start.

    Lmfao - I do own a taco

when I said to design it on cad I meant I have a friend that’s gonna help me design it to my liking w accurate measurements. My brother has a plasma cutter...I need to give him the design for him to cut and will get those parts for me to weld.

no 12yr old here....thanks for input tho.

I have a shop full of tools about thirty feet outside my back door. I often design tools, add-ons, helpers, storage, etc to go with the tools to help me out in the shop.

I'm fuckin' lazy and google CAD files all the time. If I could get away with some initial measurements without having to take the bumper off I'd ask too. It's also been cold as tits lately.

Fair enough! Why not measure it yourself then?

So I do woodworking as a hobby and like to make scale models. I understand the idea of finding measurements online and using them, but if I can't find them, I have to go investigate myself.

Drove to a scrapyard to get measurements for my little wooden Gleaner.

If you've never done fab work maybe OP's question is confusing, but some of the responses are a little dickish. ACCURATELY measuring the mounting plate for sliders was easily the hardest part of building my sliders. I'm guessing you have even less tolerance on a bumper.

This is probably why he can't find the measurements online.
