    to be realistic though, the team that is better prepared and out performs the opponent at hand does not always win... nor deserve a win either...
    sports have way more going on than just preparation and performance.

    i.e. cheating scandals, hail marry plays, flagrant officiating, divine intervention

    this "deserving " and "entitled" conversation is an interesting one though when pertaining to sports in general

    the one that stick out is when the pats went undefeated and then gave it all up for Eli and the giants in the SB

    with an undefeated season and playoff run you would think they deserved it and would have been entitled to that SB win...

    however at the end of the day the team with the best record is not guaranteed anything...
