Anything particular that should be done for a 15k service?

Hello,

My Truck is going in for 15k service tomorrow, anything i should be looking for Toyota to be doing specifically for this service?

Make sure they let new air in under the hood, not any of that used crap.

 

Isn't the 5 and 15k service basically just a tire rotation and checking fluids under the hood? I had new wheels at 3k so I'm debating if I should even bother with the 5k service since the tires we're just rotated.

 

Yup. 10 and 20 are oil changes. The others are sunshine treatments

 

Usually people will install a supercharger at 15k service but that's up to you.

 

I would avoid going to dealer, unless its really necessary.

Just speaking from my experience.

I thought at the 15k service was a time for a V8 swap

 

Some of us can't afford the Bumper2Bumper coverage.

As long as they put the o-ring back on my oil filter I'm happy.

 

With some of the things I've heard, you'd be lucky they put oil back in at all

You can ask for your 20,000mi oil change at 15,000. My dealer did it and I changed the oil from then on.
