All the more reason for me to bring you the bumper, help you store or install or paint it, eat some oysters, drink some beers, play with the puppy (setup for you preverts) and maybe spend the night depending on how many beers we had!

    but NOOOOOOOO.

I was really looking forward to some good oysters too. :hungry: And playing with the dog.

Ok, so I am hooked on this spot for mounting something but now I am thinking what if I ever get a CB or Mobile Ham. Do either of you think it would be possible to mount either the switch or a radio forward of that overhead console, between it and the rearview? Seems like the switch might work there for sure, obviously using the bracket that comes with it. Not so sure about a radio. However, if I do ever get a CB, it will be the one where everything is in the Mic and the head unit is hidden.

Quite a few people mount the head of a ham radio on a bracket over the rearview mirror

LOL, consider the source. Should have looked on here!

people have also made a mount using a piece of 2x4 for the radio that slides into the cubby by your left knee.

I think with the right radio I could mount it in the cubby where the Qi charger is and still use the charger.

Do the Qi chargers work better in the new trucks? Mine just heats the phone and drains the battery. My thought was to remove the charging magnet underneath and then trim cut the charging pad to fit my radio...

Do you have a pad in there Rahl? Like a non slip pad? Or a case on your phone? either of those will make it heat up more than without. My 17' charged fine, and this one does too. It's not lightening fast but.......I also have a plug in charger always in my console, plugged in. Actually two so we can both charge them.

I think there is enough room for both in that lower center console cubby though. The radio would have to be tiny though.

I have a phone case, but it doesn't affect my Samsung wireless chargers.

It doesn't get hot at all on those? Mine does. I use a UAG case on my phone and yes, it does get hot in the truck but it also charges. Does it charge like the Qi's from Sammy, no.

Do I agree they wasted that space with a feature I could have done without for something else I could use there, absofuckinglutely.

I also don't like the placement of the cup holders in relationship to the 12v accessory outlet. My wife's travel mug gets in the way of the mute button on the plug from my Redline radar detector. I plan on moving that to her side of the knee panel in the foot well over there. When I do that I will most likely add two high speed usb ports there, and a blank drilled out with a mic plug for the all in one CB.

Can we get more pictures of the sexy sexy shag van under the carport?

    1992 Dodge Van with a 318 v8 & 4 speed automatic?

Love the racing stripe circling the curves on that bay bay!

I took a management sensitive course online on Monday. I feel like a new me. With proper utilization of my new found skillset I have managed to reserve judgment on your poor choice of electronic devices. I am a reformed individual. I fully embrace the new me.
