    Potential energy in physics has nothing to do with "stored energy" ie. gas in the tank.

    I had been looking for a new vehicle for about 9 months, even though I lived on an auto row no one had a Tacoma I wanted. My brother kept reminding me I needed a new vehicle and one day he looked on the web and found the RC SR5 at a dealer in a not too far away town. I went to look at it and wanted it but we had to leave as we had an appointment. Don't appear too eager. I went back the next day and bought it, Carfax told me the dealer had had it for 30 days. The price started out an $19,nnn something, I got it for $14,400 after some negotiating.

    So since yours is an SR5, it came with intermittent wipers, cruise control and a backup camera?

    I see that we are done here.

    What must it be like, to be oh so confident, yet terribly and undeniably, incorrect?

    What a life those like you must lead.

    Vito Corleone, then; Doesn't look the Corleone Compound, but it does look like something he could afford!

    Obviously you can tell I love mob movies and TV shows...

    I love the Sopranos! However, comparing Tony Soprano to the Godfather himself is like comparing a small-time corporate lackey to Bill Gates or Warren Buffet!

    @RedTacoATX

    Though I did love what Tony drove (the Suburban was brand new when the series began in 1999, and he added the grille guard and rainguards later)...

    The Suburban never carried a dead body though; I've seen everything single episode several times!

    He bought a new 2003 Cadillac Escalade ESV in Season 5...

    [IMG]

    Which he totaled while swerving to avoid a deer in the road...

    [IMG]

    And quickly replaced with another 2003 Escalade ESV that he drove for the remainder of the series...

    I am on the Internet Movie Car Database (IMCDb.org) right now, and I am sad to say that while there were a few Toyotas in the series during its 8-year run, there was not one Tacoma, Tundy, or T4R. I was looking to see if I could find any screenshots of Toyota pickups on the job in The Sopranos (a lot of scenes took place at construction sites) to keep this thread on topic, but sadly I could find none!

    There is an epic scene in "Blue Comet" (Season 6/episode 21; second to last episode of the series) where a couple of the mobsters are trying to escape an assassination attempt at the Bada Bing, and in the chaos, a 2004 Prius runs over a motorcyclist...

    And in an earlier season six episode, a couple of Italian hitmen use a 2004 RAV4 (presumably rented) as a getaway vehicle after taking out a rival mob boss; I guess in a way that's a Toyota doing work, except it isn't a Tacoma and the "work" they're doing isn't exactly legal...
