They came in earlier this week. At the shop now and should be picking up this afternoon. Basically Icon Stage 1.5 lol. Icon Stage 1 kit with Camburg Moog Ball Joint UCA’s. Will let y’all know how they ride after a few days. Also any suggestions as to what to spray them with to keep corrosion at bay? I didn’t change the preset so hopefully won’t have too bad of a Cali lean. If they do I may just say screw it and get the add a leaf and toss it on myself.

First impressions are really good. Rides comfortably but not soft, has good road manors and really took away most of the body roll and nose dive. I took a turn a little fast cuz it felt good and slid a bit. Didn’t do an alignment yet but even with the 1.5” lift in front doesn’t feel like it needs one (I’ll still be getting it aligned though). When hitting larger bumps on road it eats them up and little bumps don’t feel rough at all. Will hopefully take off road in next few weeks and can give some feed back when I do. I’m impressed so far. Time will tell the rest.

Driven about 800 miles so far and still loving the suspension. I was getting a shuddering in the rear which I thought was due to drive shaft angle or something... turns out my transmission was failing! 69k on my truck. Seems a little low for a Toyota. I will say I didn’t have it for first 53k miles but I’ve read that some of 16-17 trucks were shipped off the line with low trans fluid. Anyone else heard of this?

Trans is for sure shot but thank goodness it’s under warranty. Should have truck back with a new transmission(re-man.) in it only cost is $50 deductible for warranty.

    Icon leaf packs = good.

Icon shocks = not so much
The 6112’s are more than enough for most.

If you are going to go big, go ADS and screw the blue or black fad :crapstorm:

Icons are good in that they use a one-piece spring collar that you can adjust easily in-situ. Just jack up the front end by the frame, spray some lubricant on the spring collar and where the lower spring seat sits on the shaft end fitting, then crank away with the spanner wrench.

I removed the sway bar so the Taco Lean was very noticeable. I preloaded my driver's side coil 1/4" more than the passenger side coil to keep the truck level.

Spray with Fluid Film around the spring collar threads to slow down rust. That's the only place where rust develops. The shaft is nitrided (as opposed to chrome plated) so it'll never chip.

I’m using the Bilstein 5125s in the rear . For 2-3” lift with Timbren SES bumpstops . Medium duty Dakar’s . I don’t feel a thing towing my camper and gear . 6112s in the front maxed out to 2.46 I think it is .
