Agreed. 5100s have substantially better valving than oem shocks so those arent your problem. New tires and a little weight in the rear will be a game changer for you.

Spacer lifts and nice ride can never be in the same paragraph. LR E tires on a Tacoma? Why?

My load range E tires ride fine, granted i am carrying more weight. I typically get more life out of them, 9/32 tread left at 57k miles, and they were the only load range available in the desired size. Maybe I am lucky but no complaints I can only speak for myself.

Ride quality is subjective for sure. My LR E equipped truck rides great as well...but it's not a light Taco either.

Buddy works there. I paid over the phone he brought them home and put them on my truck while I was at work. Drove it dropped it back off at my work. Never did he realize they mounted the wrong tires and since I’d driven on them they wouldn’t let me return them.
    M

But he did offer to knock a few hundred off a new set of falkens

My other issue is even though i don't do any rock crawling or anything technical around here just about anytime you go off road there are rocks and stumps. The heavier tires make me feel a little more secure I won't pncture one. Silly perhaps but it s what it is.

Interesting discussion so far @Babybluetaco as I don't see as much done with the 5 lugs. It's always nice to read things from different perspectives.
