My wife has that rav4 hybrid. It’s awesome. Really balanced, cool awd system with computer aided gadgetry, freaking fast for what it is, 40ish winter mpg. Definitely not a truck though...

I was actually thinking something more like this: https://www.amazon.com/Weatherstrip...Collision-Shockproof-Protective/dp/B07PXSHJF6

One side on the cab, one side on the bed, compressed in the middle with something like thin 3M trim tape between the two to make sure they didn't come loose from one another.

That is one option but Rubbers such as EPDM, have much better resistance to heat, light and ozone than unsaturated rubbers such as natural rubber, SBR or polychloroprene (Neoprene). As such, EPDM can be formulated to be resistant to temperatures as high as 150°C, and, properly formulated, can be used outside for many years or decades without degradation. EPDM has good low temperature properties, with elastic properties to temperatures as low as -40°C depending on the grade and the formulation.

Dobinson’s coils and shocks. SOS sliders, ditch light brackets, and front skid. Rigid ditch lights. BFG KO(dos) More minor stuff.
    This is true.

@Kidwidataco you're working to hard my man. A plastic bottle jammed between your radiator return line & the serpentine belt holds just fine, right up against the drain nipple. No need to drill or zip tie anything! Just don't forget to remove said bottle, mine held on for ~500 miles before I realized what sounded like a bucket of bolts under the hood :anonymous:
