I've wondered that about myself

Bubble wrapped society. We've officially gotten to the point where humanity has overcome Darwin's principle of evolution (the fittest survive).

 

I've wondered that for my own damn self for years now....

I'll post a pic when I get home of a marine who was damn close to getting hit with a mortar; couldn't remember if we were waiting for EOD or something but we did a dismounted patrol off into the fields just outside a small village. We found a cache believe it or not and got to see EOD blow it all up.

Then another one of where a helo had a mortar land only minutes after it had left; I got that pic because we were QRF for a squad that took an IED and badly wounded someone.

 

I guess kinda like on the Darwin side of things, so to speak. So yeah some of it has gotta be luck to certainly nothing of their own doing lmaooooo
I mean we've all done stupid things.....
I'm just gonna shut up. Was honestly meant out of just being amazed. But us humans are pretty damn good at taking care of those that may not be... er, those that struggle. The other animals don't really do that. Before someone chimes in missing the point, I know some animals do, kinda. But it's our humanity.
Anyways, I went off on a tangent. We mustn't lose our humanity. Starts with me and not being shocked that stupid people haven't died off by now.
Okay, we got that out of our system. So starting now. With the humanity part.

 

Also, it should be pointed out that even though a person is alive, does not mean that said person is "living"...

 

I do some stupid things, mostly intentional and joking at my age (that's my excuse) but I couldn't imagine a day to day life of.... Well... I guess you wouldn't know any different.
I dunno man. I was just being kinda dumb.
But that is CRAZY about the marine..... Suuuuuuuuuck I feel for those guys man. They're just kids most of em, 18-25. But the dumb things we do and don't maim or kill ourselves I bet you have some stories dude!

I just have them til Saturday. They get along alright, they have been socialized together for the time I've known my friends so my oldest and his oldest dog have known each other for 2 years now. Mine is still a bitch. Haven't trained that out of her.

His 8 month old puppy keeps trying to play with my old boi and he just barks at the puppy til he goes away
