What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

The silver box under the center console is the AC inverter for the outlet in the bed. I tapped into that for the outlet in the rear seat.

Are you looking to do the AC outlet, or the DC outlet / USB ports?

The gods in the Aesir decided 12 months was too long for my factory windshield to go without a stone chip. Thankfully the Permatex P/N 81546 resin kit works well even in subzero temperatures:



Couldn't wait for sunlight this time of the year, so I left a UV mosquito zapper lamp on the hood overnight. The resin cured nicely. Looks like I'll be able to dodge a $1000 windshield replacement this time

 

It’s been awhile since I seen one but I think there was slight modifications…Did you cut the holes to lock in? Or shave off the tabs and use a 3m tape to hold?

I coukd be wrong but I thought the 16-17 had holes and the shelf had a tab that locked it in place

 

Did a HUGE upgrade today. Not really but now that goofy space is filled

 

More of the USB ports but the AC/DC outlet wouldn't hurt

Shaved the tabs on the bottom and utilized the existing tabs on the side.

I wired mine to a relay that closes with the ignition, but there’s a 12v outlet at the front of the center console storage that you could tap into.
