Next day started truck had alt noise from speakers then 20 sec later the 3 fuse popped.. what caused this soo I can try rule everything out. . Thanks... gonna redo all connections this weekend.. maybe bad ground connection over time or loose speaker wire ? Idk was running this a good 5 yrs no problem or maybe from bumps and shaking?

Just check all connections and make sure everything is secure and not loose, especially if you used t-taps

On the amp was all 30 amp

2 blew on the amp on the way home removed the 2 left out. Next day drove with 3rd 30 amp in and blew 30 sec after no music playing. First time had alt wine coming from speakers that morning. Why would have noise if only had 1 fuse installed on amp after it blew went dead silence... sub amp still works

Check grounds, check to see if any speakers ohm impedance is not normal or sub.

What kind of wine did you have coming from the speakers? It wasn't Boone's Farm Strawberry Hill was it? :anonymous:

If wiring good not shorted could be amp or sub . Not blowing main fuse by battery correct ?

Amp for speakers not sub ? If so maybe disconect all speakers at sub (edit) amp and try connecting 1 at a time .More or less can eliminate that speaker and wiring .

Isn’t the whine usually caused by bad ground? I’m not an expert but I’ve always been told the shorter the ground the better and use at least the same size wire as your power. Yours has been fine for a while so I would first double check all connections.

Also, depending on how your wires are ran you may have rubbed through one maybe going through the firewall or something that would short it out.

Wouldn't the amp not work with only 1 fuse installed on the amp?

I don’t know the amp but I can only imagine each fuse is for a different channel

Could very well be a speaker wire.
