I wish the Poser Mobile was mine. I'd also never put glass packs on a V6 pickup. If you want to do an exhaust for the sake of doing one, do a custom MagnaFlow, or do an MBRP exhaust. Don't get crazy with these ideas or mark my words: you'll regret the insane drone and whine.

Actually, I have heard 4 cylinder tacomas around that are loud and manual. They dont sound bad actually. The v6 sounds bad loud tho. But I still dont recommend a muffler delete however, it will be too loud and raspy, plus drone. Just replace the muffler with an aftermarket one.

Drone: a sustained, often irritating humming or buzzing noise.

Drone is the sound an exhaust makes at a certain RPM. Think of Trace Atkins singing the word drawn out, drooooonnnnnne.
Different exhaust does it at different RPMS's. A resonator can reduce the drone to bearable levels.
We have a cat back TRD on one of our trucks and it sounds decent without much drone at all.

I plan on installing subwoofers so wouldn’t that drown out the noise? Or is drone really THAT loud? Thank you for your response

Depends on the exhaust to whether drone is really bad. Most folks don't know what they are listening for, they just think its a loud exhaust. YMMV

I cut out my muffler. I like the sound of it. Its the true sound of the engine unfiltered, Especially when you're in a mud pit. There is a drone but i don't mind it. Yeah it could be annoying on long trips with passengers, but once you hit the trails it sounds nice.

    Too few to list.
I've ran my truck without a muffler as I cut it off and drove it to a muffler shop. Yes, it's loud and the faster you go, the louder it gets so definitely drone. No, it doesn't sound good either.

I'm using Spintech now and like how at highway speed can barely be heard.

Worse comes to worse weld that back on or get a new one. The tone will change a little once the pipe start building up carbon or whatever it is

Not sure where you live, I have a Magnaflow that came off another Tacoma. It was too loud for him, he drove with it for 2 days.

I just never bothered to install it.

If nearby, and you want it, maybe we can agree on a price.

Really should have just gotten a Civic.

Give it more time. Listen to it after the honeymoon phase has worn off and let me know how you feel. I felt the same way about my historical Injen and Enjuku exhausts. I always end up realizing it about 2-3 months down the line after spending more time with it.
