The worst is when an order ships in two boxes, either the shipper makes a mistake or FedEx makes a mistake, and the CBSA doesn't know the two boxes are part of the same order, so you get charged double for HST...

The gods in the Aesir decided 12 months was too long for my factory windshield to go without a stone chip. Thankfully the Permatex P/N 81546 resin kit (Amazon, CT) works well even in subzero temperatures:



Couldn't wait for sunlight this time of the year, so I left a UV mosquito zapper lamp on the hood overnight. The resin cured nicely. Looks like I'll be able to dodge a $1000 windshield replacement this time

i went maybe 3 weeks before getting stone chip in my windscreen, hasn't split off yet after 2 years.

I haven't bothered with the adhesive stuff since it almost always falls out for me, well at least on the last car it did...
