The worst is when an order ships in two boxes, either the shipper makes a mistake or FedEx makes a mistake, and the CBSA doesn't know the two boxes are part of the same order, so you get charged double for HST...

The gods in the Aesir decided 12 months was too long for my factory windshield to go without a stone chip. Thankfully the Permatex P/N 81546 resin kit (Amazon, CT) works well even in subzero temperatures:

Couldn't wait for sunlight this time of the year, so I left a UV mosquito zapper lamp on the hood overnight. The resin cured nicely. Looks like I'll be able to dodge a $1000 windshield replacement this time :)

This morning I also discovered that I can order boxes of nuts, bolts, and washers here at work for a fraction of the cost of going to a store.

i went maybe 3 weeks before getting stone chip in my windscreen, hasn't split off yet after 2 years.

I haven't bothered with the adhesive stuff since it almost always falls out for me, well at least on the last car it did...

    oh no... that's dangerous!

just don't go overboard on breaking things, we still need you on 40's for the Tuk trip.
While i cruse up there on 31s. maybe i'll get 33s next year once i burn through these KO2s

Speaking of the Tuk trip; @3JOH22A this is also why i've not repaired the chips in the glass. we are bound to break a windscreen on that trip :anonymous:
