I understand. That falls under the same category. You cannot detect what you installed the moment you close the Flash window.

If you have serious doubts like octane or if it was successful, just reflash it and be sure to read what is shown in the Flash window.

Lmfao no. Consumer vehicles do not have knife edged cranks or lightweight flywheels.

@tonered @Shellshock Awesome thanks guys! Also, have you guys ever had issues getting the truck to start after a flash? It happened when I flashed the 2.0 4.88 beta this morning

    Don’t think I ever have

I’ve had once or twice when the flash wasn’t successful but I just flashed again and it was fine.

    You're welcome.

I have never had any issues after flashing 1.05 or 2.0 Beta tunes. Sorry!

    Oh right.

yeah that’s the most common reason for not starting

Am I the only one here who can live with rev hang?

It’s not that big of deal. Just shift more slowly. It’s only really noticeable in second gear anyways.

it’s there for a reason. It actually helps to keep our smog levels down.

Yes you are. Quick acceleration is problematic in this truck.

Are you drag racing? Not trying to be a smart-ass here.

If i need to go fast, I just go up to 6K...

no. Yes you can go up to 6k but it takes an eternity to get into second.

Or you start in 2nd, slip it or bog it and wait for it to start making power and finally get going

    primarily heavy traffic

Dude... aside from blueprinting and balancing those are literally the only two things I mentioned. No I got your point, your 12 second small block dragster drops RPMs fast. And my counter point is, you're retarded for trying to compare a race car to a consumer vehicle. If calling out your obvious gap in logic is "fuss" then yeah I guess you're not really suited for this conversation.

I drive around in the worst traffic in the nation, which is significantly uphill nearly 50% of the way. 2 hours one-way of deadlocked traffic going up and down the altamount pass

I have zero issues shifting or accelerating.

The rev hang is just silly and useless, like a left over from the days of bad programming or a sponge left in a patient. Should not be there. Get rid of it.
