I’m thinking about getting the maxtrac 4” spindle lift package for my third gen rwd Tacoma. I noticed the site said that it came with a 2” block for the rear lift.

Does that mean that the rear will only be lifted by 2” and the front will be 4”?

What options do I have to make the rear lifted by 3”?

Can I just use a 3” block to raise my rear?

Goal is to have the front lifted by 4” and rear by 3”.

    Thanks guys!

If that is a kit, both probably gives you a leveled look. You could get higher blocks, add in a AAL to the pack, or heck, just forget both of those and get a custom leaf pack.

or most popular vote is to sell and get a 4x4.

I've been running SCS Ray10's in gunmetal for 2+ years now and still love them. But I think they look good in any color. Swapped the fake beadlock bolt with black ones a couple of month ago. Looks even better now.

yeah, that's what I've been reading. does it get stuck in there, or it just pools up? I'm thinking like sand, small rocks, etc. I haven't seen them in person so I'm not sure what the space (if any) looks like between the fake beadlock and the rim.

I wish. I'm asking for my Tundra, but I know you guys run SCS cause I wanted Ray10's on my Tacoma for a long time. SCS Tundra options are pretty limited, and F5's aren't an option :pout:

where'd you get the black bolts from? I have a source for jet matte black Ray10's for dealz, but kinda wondering if I want 18x9's or find something in the 17" range... on a Tundra :cookiemonster:

Here’s a fairly clear pic I found of one without the ring
    FB08A277-F358-4C16-8C32-5E728F82A66E.jpg
Water for the most part pools up. Since mud is thicker, it shouldn’t get between the ring and the wheel, I assume. Idk, I’m afraid to remove mine to find out lol. Sand hasn’t been an issue honestly. Once you start spinning the wheels a lot of the stuff inside flies out

Not my wheels but this gives you an idea of what @seoulja99 was taking about. (picture is from this thread: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/scs-ray10-wheels-16x8-17x8-5.433484/)

As far as the black bolt go, I got them on eBay. I can see if I can find the link again.

You got a source on island? Been wanting to get a set for my tundra but can’t justify paying $500+ just for shipping

Way back when, Vin told me that I could check with AutoCustom. I called them up but they didn’t have the color/size I wanted so ended up ordering them from SCS. Not sure if AutoCustoms still carries them but might be worth checking. If they bring them in on a pallet, maybe they are a better deal.

Pools up, just have to blow the water out with air hose or take a rag to it to wipe out. Or just let it sit and fling out while driving. LOL.

I actually sold my Ray 10's and switched to F5's for that reason. The pooling of water after a good rain.

I've also had the TRD beadlock wheels in the past and they don't really pool up as the beauty ring is removable so there are drainage gaps to release water during driving.

I just picked up a set from Auto Customs, it’s the only way to guarantee a set. I’ve tried multiple times waiting for online drops.. shipping is definitely a killer though, gotta pay to play lol

ah ok. so it just creates a pocket on the lip. I can probably live with that. I was just thinking there was a small gap where shit would get stuck.

Shipping is cheaper than what scs website estimates. Contact Vin directly, go through auto customs, or just order them and he will refund the extra for you paid for shipping

Good call, EJ. I constantly see them post pictures of Tacomas and 4Runners with SCS wheels.

Called them too. I guess cause I’m looking for a set for my tundra, none of these places stock them.

No where is really going to stock them, they sell out almost instantly. Auto Customs will reserve you a set, but you still have to wait for that set to drop.
