    Yeah I'm messing around.
You definitely got your stuff organized. Those are the projects that are fun. I'm a plan it out type, not to big on the 'just wing it' approach to a project:cool:

hahaha haven't forgotten. you did say you weren't in a rush. I still need to find a suitable box for these things, they are huge lights. then again, i'm probably just overthinking it - just a damn box.

So I finally replaced the clunky one this morning...and the clunking is finally gone

It was a greasable Daystar poly bushing kit in there, and I just replaced it with another (new) one that I've had sitting around for awhile

The old ones I took out looked just fine, I was half expecting they'd be cracked or something. Only thing I can figure is that they were clunking because for the first several months I was putting the wrong kind of grease in them (black moly grease).

The new ones I installed with a generous helping of Energy Suspension silicone grease and they don't make a peep now, so I'm guessing that was the issue...wrong kind of grease. Make sure to use PTFE silicone grease on your poly bushings and they should be ok.

Next time I redo my leaf springs though I'm going to start off with rubber bushings from the get go

Also tightened up my ebrake finally, cable was looser than a 5 peso hooker. Didn't get around to doing the cv axle, wife had to run some errands so I'm on baby duty this afternoon

Well the Rav4 is back in action. $4k later...

Also, even though the vehicle doesnt need a chip key to start and run, they had to have the original OEM key to program the new ECU. Any insight on why that is @Empty_Lord?

The original key stopped unlocking the doors, so my sister quit using it. Thank God my dad stashed it in his tool box, otherwise we wouldve forked out for a new key from Toyota.
