Tailgate Does Not Unlock with Fob

    Glad you got it fixed OP! Isn't it better to grease it? I think the lube would dry out eventually.

    Several people have had the same problem. there seems to be some variation/wear/play in how far the actuator moves the latch (the metal plate with the 2 tabs). Mine wouldn't lock and my solution was to carefully bend the smaller locking tab (the one on the left in the video).

    If you have the problem again, you might try to figure out a way to make the larger tab on the right a little larger so it hits the lock sooner.
