Maybe if you made it rear engined. That'd leave a sweet storage area up front though. Drop a fridge up there. That'd be nuts

But another thought would be an Audi RS6 motor (Cosworth) and twin turbos (450hp/420tq at 1900 rpm)
You would have to code out the front axles as the output shafts are located in the transmission.

 

Anything is possible. If that half brained jeep dude could septic system his intake with shit pipe, a Lamborghini powered Tacoma has got to be possible

I think 60k would get you pretty close to a JGR NASCAR V-8 that would have around 900hp.

 

I'm guessing that's not on pump gas.

An R8 is one of the few cars that could make me get rid of my 911. I would even consider a wrecked one like that one. But not at that price.

I actually met the seller to look at the cap. Its in terrible condition. All screws are rusted out and hinges are falling apart. I tried to talk her down a bit before I saw it but she didn't budge...
