Kansas City Tacoma Crew - 816/913

I built my flat top AR-15 when I worked at Midway USA. DDM4 Flat top upper, Aero Precision lower, CMMG lower parts, Geissle Trigger, Magpul Stock, Magpul Mbus flip up iron sights, wolff extra power buffer spring, and some assorted magpul furniture.
Need to get it out and shoot it some more. Too much fun.

 

Just problematic varmits around the farm. No real need for an AR honestly aside from because I can

all the hunting in Iowa I do is shotgun. I would like to big game hunt out west sometime though

 

We built a few, they are fun. Even @Mrs2Fang built her own to her liking.

it is way lighter than I expected

first thoughts - I didn’t know a .22 could be so loud

20 rounds through, no issues as I’d expect with a glock

I like the magazines. They are pretty slick

 

I have an old 22 revolver that was my grandfathers......it also is loud as hell.

 

hey everyone kinda last second but if the snow hasnt melted away does anyone want to go out to the kickapoo and do some pics this weekend?

its normally pretty cool if we get a wet snow like this because then the snow sticks to the trees

we will avoid the super muddy part thats later on in the road its gotten pretty bad and we dont want to make it harder for farmers and others who have to use that road

 

ya its last second just thought it would be neat to go out and take some pics

 

not if it stays cold tbh the part of the road i was gonna go on is the maintained gravel portion the un maintained i was gonna stay away from

i was thinking of just hitting the Leavenworth to atchison part of the stretch that is still somewhat maintained while past that is un maintained and really muddy and torn up usually

 

if only it wasn’t 5 hours
