I would let them cleanup their own mess, just make sure to check their work once it's done. However, being on the accounting side you might want to tread lightly on fighting if you 'paid for her charges' because if you did get hit with her charges, but your insurance covered it all and didn't really cost you much out of pocket, you will also need to consider the tax implications. Medical expenses are tax deductible it could turn out that the higher medical expenses worked out to your tax benefit. This is something to consider and only your CPA would be able to give you proper direction on this portion of it.

I agree with what was said about the HIPAA violation. After looking at Wikipedia, they would possibly be in breach of “Title II” of the act.

Being that it is potentially a HIPPA deal, I am betting that they clean it up quick, accurately, and to both of your favors to keep them out of trouble.

Finally got out of the call center world. Working for a small wholesaler. Closer commute, M-F, 8-5, half inside sales/ half outside sales. I loved every second of this week.

I need to look around, myself. Gotta find a way to get $50k a year. Worked nights, weekends and all kinds of hours last year and still only walked away with $33k.

Tough to survive on $33k man, especially if having to work shitty hours! What type of work do you do?

Commercial Contractor with a Tenant Improvement company. We basically renovate a lot of shops and restaurants at the Airport and do Hotel room remodel work as well.

The consolation is that they pay half my insurance and match my 401k stuff so it could be a hell of a lot worse but there's still room for improvement.

@Snaeper Right on! 401k match and health insurance are definitely awesome to have. I also work for a GC, we're specialized in material handling so anything warehouse related. Pallet racks, mezzanines, etc. We are always hiring for field positions. Same benefits as you've got now but not right off the bat...think it's after 6 months. Will gladly PM you some more info, just let me know!

Truck is getting some serious love in 2020. First time ever it will have a matching spare rim, and first time in about 5 years it will have a full size, brand new, matching spare tire. Big upgrade from the spare tire with 6 plugs in the sidewalk that still leaks lol.

Just need to pull and paint the faux beadlock bolts black.

The DD Elantra is also getting a full size spare but the cheapest steel rim and cheapest full size tire lol. Better than the can of fix a flat that came with it.

I don't see why you couldn't get close to 50k in that field. I'm pretty good at doing resume's if you ever want help. And indeed if my favorite job board right now.

I did the call center thing while going to college, walking out of those doors for the last time after I graduated was amazing . I know some people can make a good living doing it but definitely not for me .

Well it is time. My Taco may have taken her last breath. On my way home from the TurtleBack Grand opening in Chandler, my minor head gasket issue on Cyl 6 went south and now it is basically undriveable. I have her parked in the back yard. I spent a bit of time looking for engine info. I already know the basic shop prices:
$4K for head gasket, water pump, timing chain, basic head work, etc.
$6400 with used engine (06 to avoid 05 head gasket issue)
    $8200 with crate Jasper engine.

Anyone know of a V8 Swap kit available?
How new of a 4.0 can I drop into the 05 chassis?
Prob need to go solid axle up front as well. If it is going to be down awhile, I'm thinking convert it to 4x4 at same time.

My contract job ends Wednesday (Bad timing) but I have an "Working interview (3rd interview) Monday that will almost double my pay if it goes well.
Also have a 2nd interview Tuesday in Tempe, and there's a little talk of my contract getting extended again for 5 months so they can hire me.

Once I have ANY job secured, I need to figure out what to do with my truck as buying a new one is not an option.

    SUGGESTIONS?

@Dan H @OmegaMan73 @TailHook @OnePuttBlunder and I ran a section of bulldog canyon today. Good times even if I clenched a little. Certainly the roughest terrain I've taken my Taco on so far. Lits of creaking, groaning and popping sounds...IMG-20200125-WA0005.jpg IMG-20200125-WA0004.jpg 20200125_142421.jpg 20200125_153641.jpg

We also found a Jeep Grand Cherokee near the end and helped him out down a particularly technical section.

Got @motoman255 sliders installed today after he got them back from powdercoat. Came out good and I hope he puts them to good use. Maybe get a pic of the kick ups in use one day.

There have been a few people that drop in an LS. It’s doable for sure. But probably the most expensive option.

I would assume that any 4.0 would drop in. It could be cool to find a 4.6 (I think?) from a gen 1 tundra and put that in.

To be honest though for all the money you are going to spend doing a swap/4x4 conversion it’s probably way more reasonable to find another taco.

keep that one as a project or swap all the parts. I do know you live that truck and the memories so I’m not sure if that’s an option.

Yeah... I'm pretty familiar with what a couple guys have spent for the LS Swap... 25 and 35K. A bit crazy. 4X4 though... it can be done for 3500 or less. I've actually thought about moving on... maybe grab a used 4x4 4runner or taco, swap what I like, and rebuild the current at snails pace.

Could lead to lots of parties.... I mean Mod Days at my Mesa house!

Hey man, I’m all in to help. If you find a 4.0 it should be a pretty easy swap.
