It actually was quite good. Wife seasoned it with poultry rub. I had my doubts, but it was tender and juicy. It did splatter grease droplets on the inside of the AF. Wife said she would clean it.

Frozen skinny fries of your choice, salt, truffle oil..........

Truffle salt - a teaspoon+ of sea salt, drops of truffle oil - salt should just fluff a bit with a fork when grains get coated with oi. Sprinkle salt on finished fries

Preheat ceramic bowl in 400-425°F regular oven for serving

    Two methods:

    A) Oil first (dribble oil over fries in mixing bowl) and air fry then add truffle salt- tasty but not as truffle-ly (more nutty)
    OR
    B) Air Fry fries then add oil when done, then add truffle salt

    Serve in heated bowl.

Not a recipe but a tip I guess.....we bought a new waffle maker. Naturally my wife makes a giant batch of excellence imbued fluffy tasty waffle batter. And I eat two waffles and I am bloated. Then she makes a bunch more waffles for.....tomorrow.

Today being tomorrow I heated those now soggy cold refrigerator shriveled bastards in the air fryer. Holy smokes 100000× better than microwave 1000x better than the toaster oven. The waffles reinflated warm and steamy on the inside and just a tiny tiny bit crispy on the outside.

Frozen microwavable chicken sandwich play in the air fryer along with tater tots at 400 for about 12 minutes.

    IMG_20200120_133741482.jpg

The bun was just heated in the microwave for about 30 seconds in the original packaging add a little lettuce cheese whatever you want and it's way better than the soggy microwave sandwich!

Same for chicken wings. Pulled some leftovers out of the fridge and they were just as juicy and crispy skinned as when I pulled them off the vortex.

Finally did chicken wings this weekend. It's official - the grill is PISSED.

"HOW DARE THEY!?!?!" it screamed, watching the wings come out lightly crispy, juicy AF, and not at all scorched or burned.

It's been two days and it still hasn't spoken to me. I did hot dogs on it last night to mollify it, and might have to do some steaks to calm it back down. But I'm dying to try some breaded haddock filets I picked up at Sam's in the air fryer...

    Did y'all hear that?

I think it was the grill.

Ok hold your undies. Lace up your straps.

I cooked two Beyond Meat patties in the AF.

And they were not bad. Ate them with our vegetarian Indian dinner. Saag paneer. Chana masala. Bombay potatoes. Etc.

    Pretty good dinner!

I didn't take a photo.. but I made some Tyson Homestyle breaded chicken nuggets in the air fryer while I heated up some canned corn, some Idaho instant potatoes that come in a cup and made some gravy and then threw it all together to make a homemade KFC bowl... Nice and easy and filling dinner

We did that the other night except we used the popcorn chicken and I added some cheese on top. Was a good meal.

And bacon bits (real ones, not the soy chips with smoke flavoring added). Gotta add the bacon bits.

And Cavender's Greek Seasoning. That goes on everything.
