    I was not successful in separating the tie rod from the lower ball joint mount. I tried penetrating oil, heat, pneumatic hammer, and a BFH. I gave up. :pout:

    The next step is to order new outer tie rods so I can remove the old ones with forks and brute force (won’t have to worry about not ruining them). Ah well, there’s always next weekend for that.
