Thank you! I did purchase a bed liner, bed cover, seat covers, and nerf bars. Don’t laugh, but what are: BFG KO2, 5100s, and a front skid rear breather?

Also - what are your thoughts on the pedal commander? Do you use that with your ECT engaged? I’ve also looked into the Sprint Booster which is smaller than the Pedal Commander. Any thoughts you are willing to share would be greatly appreciated!

Wow - thank you so much for your input! I did purchase the OEM metal oil filter housing and Fumoto drain valve. What is the rear axle mod and hood strut mod? I hate to bother folks so if I should go to another section of the forum that specifically answers these questions, please point me in the right direction.

Have you made an ECT mod and/or use something like the Pedal Commander or Sprint Booster? What are your thoughts on these?

Thanks so much for your time!

I like the pedal commander a lot I have it set at city +1 and it really picked up the response bit it does not make the truck faster just quicker to get it rolling that is all I wanted. It takes just a few minutes to install and I use the economy setting off road it helps me with wheel spin but that's my way might not be others way. Does not take up much space and you can't really see it

Do you like the PC over using the ECT?

Hello congrats on the new Tacoma. I’m definitely happy for you, it’s an awesome and fun truck!

To answer your question earlier, I have a Sprint Booster in my truck. I also always use ECT as well, but I’m waiting for the Meso Customs V2 module. In the mean time I just automatically reach down and press the button now

Getting back to the booster device. I have been using it every day since March 2018 80% city 20% mall (jk). No issues at all using it or in the performance of the truck. It has 18 settings plus two valet modes that reduce horse power. Two modes; Sport and Race. I get decent mileage using sport 1-4 with ECT. Race 9 is max level and it feels like that pony is ready to go.

My transmission feels smooth to shift and I have no issues that a lot of TW members with automatics experience (TSB058 update applied).

I found a nice switch panel on shapeways.com that fits perfectly in place of the cubby left of the steering wheel. They can hold up to two additional switches in addition to the sprint booster. I went with one extra switch and kinda wish I had done two.

You may find additional information if you search for “Sprint Booster” on YouTube.

I love this truck, but it’s sort of a money pit with all the mods you can buy :D.

The Meso ECT module is in the works, but might still take a while. I’m ok to wait they make great products:

    https://mesocustoms.com/

you can get a sprint booster from a number of sites, so just keep an eye out for a sale (got a really good deal on mine)

General OEM parts for good prices:

I’m guessing it will connect behind the ECT button so it will probably not even be visible

Here's an option for the hood struts, which gives you the option to increase your open hood height by up to 6" over the low stock height - https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/high-lift-hood-struts-for-the-3rd-gen-tacoma.642445/
