    Well it seems almost mean spirited to make fun of the RAM offering, it's already a joke, you get the best diesel engine in the absolute worst truck with an awful fragile drivetrain

    Saw this color for the first time today... @GQ7227 mentioned it before but it was only produced a few years. Wish I caught it in the daytime. What is the color again if anyone knows and what years was it made? It had a 95-97 grille I thinkDB354382-B2EC-4572-B68B-FD158F73E0FA.jpg63D703AB-9F23-452E-89D8-0AF93988E395.jpg

    I shoot the shit every day with my techs as part of my daily routine and going through all the departments.

    I will venture to say that a lot of cars are low value such as the Journey, Renegade, Compass, Cherokee, and Ram Promaster City.

    The uconnect system is badass and stupid user friendly in all the FCA lineup. The 9 speed paired with those 2.4 though are absolutely atrocious and unreliable as hell.

    No complaints on any of the trucks though aside from the DEF system that sucks ass anyway. Never seen a diesel truck come in for any specific issues aside from neglect.

    The Cummins Rams are known for ballooning the weak ass torque converter, that shatters the driveplate, intermediate plate, and sometimes the trans oil pump and in some cases throws so much forward pressure on the crank that it eats the thrust bearing. The new trans are a bit better than the old ones now that they switched to Aisin at least. They need to drop whatever cheap company is casting the adapter plates and making the torque converters though. And of course it wouldn't be a Mopar without various electrical failures and poor interior/exterior panel fitment. The uconnect is good though, been in some 300s with that and it's easy and fast.

    You're talking about the 68RFE's?

    That's Chrysler's blend but aside from some tuned setups, I've yet to see one fail. These trucks come beat to shit too since I live in the lettuce capital of the world, and the wealthiest people in these counties own the AG companies we all get our greens from. I'll snap pics of these poor neglected trucks that only come in when they've got an issue and there's thick layers of mud caked in the engine bay even.

    The ones that have real issues are those neglecting their EGR service or not servicing their vehicles when needed which prevents the trucks from going into a regenerative cycle. Otherwise you clog the particulate filter.

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    My salesperson a few years back lost a deal after making the mistake of introducing me to someone I said I recognized and knew.

    When the guy left without buying a car, I told my salesman "you know you fucked up by introducing me right?.."

    I had picked on the dude after I first met him back in my computer science or tech class in highschool. He had been known for picking on other people so I talked a lot of shit to him :rofl:

    My dad condoned violence, oddly enough, and I never had an issue with bullies. My brother on the other hand did but we handled it after some years.
