I've ordered a couple times from them, floor mats and seat covers. No problems or complaints.

Is it too late to go back to 1985?

 

Anyone know where I can get one of these wheels? I just need the wheel, no airbag or controls/trim, preferably with damaged leather and cheap.

Just keep an eye out on Kijiji and eBay for used ones. There are a few for sale in the $1xx range from 2005-2011 2nd gens. 2012-Present wheels will randomly turn up.

Catless is still illegal last I checked.
Not that you're likely to be caught but if you are the fine is pretty hefty.

And aren't the o2 sensors on the cat? Will end up throwing a fault code.

 

It might of changed but same thing.

I remember when I used to go to the track and MTO would set up road checks and ticket for no cat.

 

@Thyces is already running long tube headers which delete the front cats, so he's probably using an O2 sim. Rear cats are downstream of the O2 sensors so they have no effect.

Legality is a matter of enforcement. I've never seen roadside inspections in 20 years of driving.

HID bulbs in halogen headlight housings is illegal in Ontario, according to the safety inspection manual, but normally there's no enforcement unless you need to do a safety inspection for title transfer.

 

I’ve been pulled over twice by MTO in 15 years, both times in the same 4Runner that was 100% emissions legal. It just looked shitty and sketchy, and being a visible minority helps too. I guess it’s regional, MTO cops have different motivations. In a college-town, it was busting students for less than legal mods.

 

Regional might be it. Fewer gang executions in your area to keep cops occupied. Command post trucks are easier to spot from a block away

Interesting how this will turn out. As I understand those spacer bungs (also available in parts stores in smaller sizes as spark plug non-foulers) can buy you some time if your cats are degraded, but aren't enough for running catless.
