Depends what type; Mustang wheels are a dime a dozen. Even scored some Brembo package wheels from a '12 model for like 3-400?

Had bought them for my SO and had them on her last Mustang.

Hold up, you have a shop down the road from you that has Toyota tacoma first gen enthusiasts that work in it/run it? That ken04taco guy? That guy is legit man. I'd imagine anyone working in a shop that he'd work in is pretty damn decent. If you really don't want to do your TB/WP job, and don't blame ya, I only do the crap cause I actually like it, but that is a homie Hookup of a Price to have taco enthusiasts do the job. And infinitely higher chance the job will be done correctly :D
I didn't know you you had that guy down the street from ya. He's good man

    I have mods
New sub is installed. Works but isn't very loud. Guess I forgot to turn up the bass/volume before I uninstalled the stock head unit. No adjustments on the JBL amp for gain or anything else.

I don't. But I think I remember a thread that was dedicated solely to the electrical connectors involved with first gen Tacoma. I'll look

Similar sub setup in the Land Cruisers of that vintage as well. I remember back in the day on ih8mud there seemed to be something to do with bypassing a factory amp, or something like that, to get the sub more adjustable.... Shoot, I really don't remember but I think there was a fix to that. Or maybe it was that there wasn't a fix for that and thats why I never did it on my Cruisers.
Sorry for the lack of help lmao. I thought there was something the guys did about that though

Yessir these guys are right down the street from me

I can drop my truck off and walk home. Ken got a job as a mechanic there a few weeks back which is awesome, all the more reason to like the place lol

I've known him for awhile, my first Mojave Rd trip was with Ken and a few other local guys a few years ago. He bought my old Softtopper off me and really fixed that thing up

Not familiar with the Toyota specific subwoofer, but if it's like most other factory subs, the input signal relies on the output for either your front or rear speakers.

I'd mess with the fade and/or balance of your speakers from your headunit before doing anything else.

Worst case, you cut the harness off, follow the schematic to figure out what wire is what and just use the remote turn on, signal output, power, and ground and use a smaller yet more efficient amplifier.

Any aftermarket amp would be better than an OEM setup, plus if you know audio, you'll be able to dial the sensitivity/voltage and adjust it to the volume you'll most likely listen to music at.

Looks like my HF jack shit the bed.

Truck is in jack stands and the jack was in the garage so I am safe and sound. A little too real though

Thinking about my buddy who didn't have such good luck :(

Yikes... Glad to hear you're good. I've been thinking I need to service my HF jack soon since its been awhile since I got it.

Had to watch Rush: beyond the lighted stage again on Netflix cause it's so good. Only now it's bitter sweet knowing Neil is gone.

What happened to it? My transmission jack lost hydraulic pressure once and I just had to add ATF to the bleeder hole.

What's the service interval on them? I'd rather not wait until I lose hydraulic pressure while lifting my truck to learn that I need to change the fluid

Found a good video on doing it...probably take care of that this weekend

Looks like it blew a seal and puked it's fluid. It was just stored unloaded

Are you supposed to store it holding pressure?

No clue. I should probably change the oil in my compressor too, I’m pretty sure it’s original from 1999.
