Cool project. I was watching your progression on the NOVA thread. Once you got past the removal of all the spring hangers it should have been fun

Removing all the mounts was the only bad part and took longer than everything else. It has been a lot of fun!

When we did the "63 swap" on Skips truck we removed the bed as you did boy did that make things easier. Even with it out of the way removing the spring mounts and shock mounts it was a lot of cutting and grinding. Thank the Lord for the plasma cutter. I should be getting my "Hammer Hangers" in a couple of weeks so will be removing the rear spring hangers but not removing the bed for that should be interesting.

Just buy new ones. I gave up on getting them turned down, years ago. I will be buying new ones soon. Let TW know what you get and how you like them.

I really could have used a plasma. I butchered my spare carrier years ago installing a shackle flip. I think an air chisel would have made life easier. I’m always missing that one tool.

I didn’t do anything, but the valet at the hotel I’m staying at decided to show off a couple tacos. Proud dad moment right there, the taco has made it to the big leagues lol

My brother sent me a screenshot of his 37 degree weather down in Florida. That's like summer in NYS. :D

Spark plugs, intake air filter, MAF & TB clean @ 96781mi. I think the original plugs were still in this mf; they were too tight, as well. I bought it at 75k miles...changed the whole sound of it running. Purrrrrfect!

Cleaned the throttle body, by the looks of the towel I don't think the previous owner did. The other side of the towel is just as bad0125201301.jpg
