Finally a phone mount setup I like

Entune maps doesn’t have my house in there ;( but it has some houses down the street lol.

I actually have mine set up to be vague about where I live purposely. I don't really know why, it's not like my address isn't on my registration which is in the glove box...

 

Just did this exact mod this morning. Sturdy, extremely low profile & unobtrusive. Works perfectly for what i was wanting. Thanks for the writeup!
On a side note, i noticed that i can also start recording video if needed as the phone sits at a nice height giving a decent angle of what’s in front of me. Bonus, since i don’t have a dash camera.

 

I've always been happy with my $10 Scosche mount. The magnet is still strong as ever and the phone doesn't cover the vent. The magnet's base sits flush with the edge of the dash surround.
