Thanks for the kind words man! Be sure to post some pics once you start modding your truck. Post the link on here so I can check it out.

Where is that? I took my truck to Discount Muffler off Ina before. They charged $40.

I haven't looked into it yet. But I have thought about changing out the coils to soften up the ride up front. I already have the rear spring TSB so I'd just need to get some coils. I wouldn't know where that would put me up front though...

hahaha, cant argue with that! Im with the forest service currently on an engine stationed out of greenville california. I was an explorer for several years with kern county and eventually would like to work there but a lot of countys in california arent hiring due to budgets.

    Nice man. Good for you.

I got the Super 44 installed and i love it. Nice deep grumble. I would say that it is a nice step up from the Wicked Flow that I had on. I will probably sell my Wicked Flow on the B/S/T soon. It has a nice sound but just wasn't what I was looking for.

Now I am wondering if I should just get my chrome rear bumper powder coated the same color of my truck. Hmmmm...

The way to disable your seatbelt chime in in the cheap mods thread. I tried this on mine this week and it worked.
    Here it is;

    1) Turn the Car 'ON', but do not start the engine (Leave your foot off the brake). Cycle your trip reset knob until it reads ODO. Turn the ignition back off. Wait a couple of seconds.
    2) Make sure seat belt is not fastened
    3) Turn the ignition back on, do not start the car (Leave you foot off the break) As soon as you see everything light up, press and hold the trip reset knob and do a long 12 second count.
    4) Keep your finger on the trip reset knob. Fasten your seat belt, as soon as you fasten your seat belt, you should see the ODO display go from XXXX miles to "b-on". At that time take your finger off the trip reset knob and press it again. It should cycle to "b-off". You should be all set and turn the ignition off and unfasten your seat belt.

Call me a grandma, I but I feel pretty confident that anyone can become used to ALWAYs wearing their seatbelts. I feel sort of weird without it at this point. Personally, I don't mind it cause it usually only chimes when I'm first pulling out of the neighborhood if I've parked on the street.

Just my opinion. Not for everyone, I suppose...

You're 26. When it comes to seatbelts you're definitely not a grandpa. I always wear my seatbelt. I just don't like hearing the chime when I'm backing out the driveway or when I'm making a quick run in the neighborhood. Or if I have a passenger in the truck that takes a minute to buckle up.

I too feel weird driving around town without my seatbelt. Feel way too "loose" without it on.

Like your choice of rims, nice and clean. Considered going with blacked out badges?

Thanks man. I was considering going with the blacked out badges till I messed them up taking them off. I am too impatient to do things carefully and slow. Which explains why there aren't any on my truck. Stupid me.

Not sure what you are asking here.

If you're asking me which wheel I think you should get, then I have no idea. Get whatever one you like the most.

I chose the Raceline Renegades because not many people had them. I had the 7089s on my first gen and this second gen but five other guys at work got them after I did. So my style was feeling a bit cramped too.

I see now you listed that in your initial post. Guess I just threw that up there after seeing your post about the dealership refusing to do it. By the way your truck looks great. I can't wait to get my lift done and get some real bead locks but I feel like I should let the warranty expire before doing too much.

Are bead locks street legal where you live? Don't worry about the warranty. Dealer has to be able to prove that what you modified had something to do with the vehicle needing the warranty work.
