You can pull the e-locker actuator housing and manually slide the lock pin into place. The only legit reasons not to go wheeling:

    I died.
    My wife won't let me.

That’s, like, 90 percent of my married life. Le sigh.

Just saw the problem, saved me $500, just a cut line from dropping the fuel tank last weekend.

I’m still in. Snow looks like its the forecast.

as far as the gate. I remembered that there was a gate but there was so much snow that we were able to go over it. Don’t know about this year.

So how’s Iron Mountain then? Or still continue to wrights? Or even uncle toms for a beer?

sorry but to edit my comment:
the snow was so deep that “I” didn’t know we passed the gate. We made it to the lake that day and was notified on the way back out from the lake that the gate was only about 300 yards from the T. As you can see from the stop sign it was DEEEEEP.

    I hope I didn’t offend any environmentalist.

More about obeying road/trail closures than environmental issues.

idk I always heard that ignorance isn't a defense and it's my responsibility to know wtf I am doing but YMMV I suppose.

It may not be, but the way you worded it sounded like your party bypassed a closure. Google maps shows it closed in winter, but I wouldn't take that as official. I recently found out that all "native surface" roads are closed in Eldorado NF until the end of March, which was a bummer because I wanted to go snow camping.

Plus the only time I saw a gate out there was when we wheeled Barret Lake for the first time 3 months before and that gate we went over was no where near that gate to enter Barret Trail. (If you’ve never been there it’s one of my top two, first is the Con)

Trust me, I’ve been wheeling for about 7 years and i do tread lightly. If you ever want to voice your opinion talk to the crawlers that wheel fordyce. Been there and the crawlers turned the trail into runways for airplanes. Lol

    okay blame my ignorance.
