Do you have possession of a 2019 at truck? If not I’d be glad to let you use mine if it would help locate any issues. Have spare vehicles so truck isn’t a necessity.

 

I am currently. The problem was I had no idea there was a potential for this issue until I had it. While it was discussed here, it was at no point announced through official channels, and up until this morning I could go and download it and load it into the truck. It drove me nuts that this could possibly happen to someone else. Anyone slightly critical of a supplier on this site not named pelfrybilt or ********* is attacked so I sent an unreplied ticket into Zendesk and sat quietly until the latest delay just made me say screw it, I can always just start a new account. (I'd also like to welcome our newest member CG257, no relation)

I like the beta, and maybe it's just because I can't have it, but I remember loving 1.05.1 much more on my commute for the day it didn't go SkyNet on me. Then he comes out and tells me everything I want to hear: "I'm chucking current 2.0 because I know how to tune this and I'm just going to do my magic, it'll be a bit longer but trust" That's music to my ears. I'm this close to getting what I couldn't have just to have Jeff Bozos and a fucking crib throw a wrench in it all.

 

Wtf is going on here? Noobs and trolls making up their own timeline release and accusing Mat of lying. GTFO!

Helping identify the fact that problematic tunes were still available is one thing.... thanks for that. Calling Mat a liar is another... it’s not helpful and just causes three pages of banter. I joined this forum for this thread in ‘17 and have read every single post. Lots of DB’s, but you take the cake and are the first user in three years that I will block.

 

They do tend to come out of the woodwork.

I appreciate that you understand why 2.0 isn't out yet.

Something for everyone to understand, the truck is only half way through its development cycle, and is only a newborn in terms of its road life.
People will be buying, modding, driving these trucks for the next 10-15 years. Heck I love mine I doubt I'll ever get rid of it.
I'm trying to design a tune that has a lot included, and will survive at least the rest of this trucks development cycle (2024) Before updating again.

And I do expect I'll be tuning these for 10+ years. There is so many limitations in the stock code that these trucks will never see high Hp, big torque builds without custom code work.

 

Might as well 100% rewrite the entire ECU over those 10+ years

New guy sure has a big attitude. Manners are not something you learned as a child. There is a TON of people backing OVtune over many years of awesome tunage and updates so I would tread lightly. You need to settle your tone a little bit

Not tough at all, just understand how to behave like an adult and have some respect when the numbers for OVtune (and the fact OUR trucks run like they should) speak against your childish behavior.

You may not realize it, but the way you choose to behave alienates you and people will be less likely to help or answer your questions in the future. That is if they even interact with you at all.

 

Sounds like a plan after 2.0 drops.... I know most bought the tune for drive-ability reasons, I bought it for better performance. So far I have been pleased with the improvements, but if you say there is more....
