    Yeah... I'm too far away from it to hear the USC fans talk every year. I do seem to hear talking heads (independent of SC) talk about them most pre-seasons, though. Guys like Herbstreit and others on ESPN have frequently called SC a sleeper or dark horse, or this year, a legitimate contender in the East.

    But this year, like always... same ol' gamecocks.

    i ignore the talking heads...but youre right...as always...same ole gamecocks...

    I've said for years if they would quit buying big name played out coaches...find a younger guy with not much to lose...theyd make something of themselves...but...in the end...they dont...and they hover around 7-5/8-4...if not 6-6

    Not that my team has much room to talk...we do the same damn thing...BUT...read on some other teams msg boards about fan's experiences in Clemson...we lose with class baby! Plus I KNOW that my team is mediocre...and i dont have delusions of grandour...i know that Clemson will beat 1-2 teams they arent supposed to...lose to 1-2 teams they arent supposed to...and finish in the middle of the pack...like always...and then lose our bowl game

    and tho we're in the "lowly acc" as Carolina fans like to remind us of so often...we've won more Clemson-Carolina games in Williams Brice than they have...and they are down in the series by about 30 some odd games...

I think you win this weekend, but not by much. You're certainly going to lose to Arkansas, and I think you're 1-1 vs La State and Georgia.

    Nothing against you or any specific auburn fan on this board. Just saying that it's amazing how high (you all think) au is flying after a 5-0 start.
