But this is exactly the point I'm trying to make; if you sit down and have a serious talk, being honest with yourselves and each other, you will figure out that maybe committing to each other for good isn't the best idea.

Your heart is in the right place, setting yourself up for the future, but maybe her future is spending that time growing up with you.

Ana came by today out of the blue.

She had her little hoodie on, yoga pants and all looking damn fine. So much so that one of the managers I work with did a fake page for me on the overhead speaker.

Least she brought me Starbucks

 

We have had the talk. I think she is just having a hard time getting use to it. Because the last 5 years we been together i been home alot. Then these last 6 months have been different

Well given how much you work right now I cant say I fault her for feeling that way lol. You've been together long enough you know as well as anyone relationships are all about compromise... from both parties. Maybe try and reassure her that eventually you won't have to put in the crazy hours that you do now once you get to where you want to be. Hopefully you know the general timeline for that. But that will also involve making sure the free time you do have is spent together to some degree

Believe me it won't get easier when you're married.. if anything things like this get harder because not only are you building your own life, you're building one together now too.

I'm no expert I've had plenty of failed relationships but most of my ability to make it work now has just come with age. God knows I couldn't have done an engagement/marriage in my 20s...holy hell that would have been ugly haha.

You're light years ahead of where I was at your age though so you'll pull through. Just remember the compromise part...its very important lol
