Well.... pop n lock and remote start. Morimoto XB headlights. Southern Style off-road slim line bumper. Smittybilt 10K wench. My Pro Grill hasn’t come in yet. Was a long day full of setbacks. First off the damn programming for the remote start got me flustered. Do it with the door closed. The pop n lock was no big deal. Had to nix the caliraised led bar behind the grill. Wouldn’t fit with the wench. The headlights popped a fuse and the closest Autozone didn’t have my fucking fuses. Got those fixed. Went to wire up the wench and it was sparking like crazy. Come to find out some wires in the control box were touching! Finally got it all back together. I think it looks pretty good. Gotta give my dad props for helping me out all day 70791F33-6F2D-49BA-9973-6EEB6C700B84.jpg5ACC88AD-8D96-472B-9FAE-D85785323F83.jpg

Simple mod tonight. Installed some eagle klaw mat fasteners. Don’t know why I didn’t do this three years ago. 8939B783-FF60-4E5D-B9B6-23584759648A.jpg

Toyota should have put a grab handle on both sides IMO. Great mod.

I have found the cap falls of 1/2 the time when using the plastic clip and it is even less reliable if it is cold out.

I guess the plastic cord does flex as much when it’s cold. Cold in Canada is different than cold on South Louisiana. Rarely get below 32*F here.

I didn’t see what all the fuse about was until I installed the Toyota aluminum running boards for my girls and to prevent me sliding off the seat getting out (which f’ed up my seat in my last truck). I had (and still do) need to force myself to step on them (don’t really need it getting in but since they push out from the body it feels like I’m stretching more and rubbing my leg against the boards) then tuck and roll to clear the roof, lmao. But it would make it feel more natural if I had a grab handle

It was part of the Technology Package on the 2019 TRD Off road from the dealer. $770 gets you "Color Keyed Rear Bumper, Rear Parking Assist Sonar and Blinkd Spot Monitor w/ Rear Cross Traffic Alert"

I got factory running boards installed before I left the dealer. I step onto it with one foot and then sit, reversing the procedure on the way out when I remember, trying to avoid sliding in and out which will eventual wear the outside of the seat. Your grab handle mod is a great idea.

That wasn’t me that did the paracord grabber- I was just stating I didn’t understand why everyone was complaining about 86ing the drivers grab handle until after my running boards were installed

That's GREAT!! Where did you get just one handle? Also, does it look alright, get in your way and is it really effective? This is exactly what I need. It's just awkward sometimes getting into the truck w/o handle

Gotcha. I was wondering why my 2017 was chrome. I do not have the Tech package.
