The worst thing he ever did to me was almost cause me to run him over; I was not expecting him to come out of nowhere and jump in front of my truck!

And then there was a drunk college student who came up to my truck while it was moving and started pounding on the hood with closed fists just because I beeped at him for blocking the road!

I wish my Tacoma had a heated steering wheel, that would make things much better. To be totally honest my hands wont warm back up till around the month of May, its 71 in the house and my hands are turning white and purple.

There isn't really anything I can do to prevent it, I keep heating up those microwave bags and hold them on my hands to help.

One time, some drunk guy decided to take his sweet time staggering across the street and he was blocking my path; One of my favorite things to do is turn on my brights when people are blocking me.

This guy took it way to personally and started walking towards my truck, gesturing like he wanted me to get out of the truck and fight him, all because I blinded him with my high beams!

What do you think of the town drunk I told you about? The guy who jumped in front of my truck in a parking lot...?

Do you know why I don't like driving at night? It's because there's two types of people driving around at night...

Drunk drivers, and overzealous cops looking for drunk drivers!

My uncle has been a cop in New Jersey for almost 30 years! He thinks that DUI checkpoints are unconstitutional and a waste of police resources! Because of how feels, nobody will ever be able to convince me that DUI checkpoints are a good idea!

I noticed they started announcing the DUI checkpoints on the radio prior to doing it, I have a feeling that is their way of trying to get around any constitutional issues.

And also, I’ve seen it from both ends...

I’ve been hit by a drunk driver (a repeat offender who once killed somebody while driving drunk, no less), and about a year and a half later I encountered a DUI checkpoint while driving home from work; I hated dealing with both!

All they succeed in doing is backing up traffic and pissing off motorists...

Also, I read that Ohio makes DUI offenders put special red plates with yellow lettering on their vehicles for a certain amount of time, for that extra level of humiliation!

That was true about the plates as I have seen them before but I have a feeling they don't anymore because its been a long time since I noticed one.

    Random question...

Do you think I should move to Florida? A few of my family members live in North Florida, and a few in Myrtle Beach as well.

If you could afford it and think you would have fun it would probably be ok, wouldn't have any shortage of AC to fix or install.

I wouldn't mind staying down there for winter to avoid the cold.

I could afford it in a matter months; I'd just have to find a job until I complete HVAC training.
