Everything LEGO thread!

My wife STILL has not built the "friends" set I got her for her birthday.

 

I didn't even have to justify the Saturn V to my wife

 

Getting a tad bit closer

 

Give her the ole’ Ross finger.

 

My mom bought an Elves set solely because it came with a dragon. Three or so years later she still hasn't built it.

 

Crack a bottle of her favorite beverage one night and tell her game on!

 

Wife and I went out to Bricks and Minifigs in Anaheim for International Lego Day (which is today! woot!!!). May or may not have purchased a few items...



Also, stopped at the RC Shop and picked up a few items for my Traxxas SST. Got those all installed.



Now time for Legos!

Sounds familiar... mine has the Harry Potter night bus and Diagonal Alley both sealed in boxes... and she picked up the carney set tonight while I was feeling up baggies. Something about the guy with the mullet in the set is pretty funny.

 

I decided against starting the lunar lander so late in the evening and went with the Women of Nasa Kit instead. Lunar Lander will be tomorrow most likely.

I started mine tonight got the first set of bags done. This was my first creator set and love how the directions came.

Ah, just saw a commercial for it this morning. Never seen anything about it before. Looks pretty neat.

 

Cat bumped mine again. I still can't find the orange ring for the splashdown part.
Gonna have to find a different place for it.

 

Time to use brickshield my friend and strategically place it.

 

I just need a different place to put it for now.. Or a better way to keep the cat off the top of the bookcase.

Had to google what that was.

I think if I push it further back on the bookcase and maybe put some tape sticky side up or something, she'll leave it be. If not, I'll look into a case or something for it.

 

Been down the road with sticky tape. All fine and good unless your cat likes to lick tape like ours does lol. I'm sure you'll find something. Our little freakshow learned to not go up by 'Dads' Legos through training.

 

Lol, we haven't used tape with this one yet. It's either gonna freak her out or she's gonna try to eat it. She's still a young'n and she's kinda dumb so it's a toss up.
