I got mine in the mail yesterday.
Everything was exactly as I requested.
No numbers, black hardware, and with the shark fin cutout.
They even sent me the LED lights in the same box instead of sending them later.
I'm planning on buying the CaliRaised ditch light kit without the lights and just using two of the ones from the roof rack for it.
Everything went perfect! I'm planning to put it on tomorrow!

Well, I installed my roof rack today.
Opening the box, it looks great! No problems at all. Really sturdy, not worried about it bending ever.
One I started installing it, it went by fairly quick.

    Then the wind deflector happened.
The slots were drilled out wrong from the factory so it dented in my roof (luckily I was able to take it off in time before it stuck), I had to drill new holes because the rack wasnt lasered out right. So now I have a brand new roof rack, with random holes drilled in it, and I'm only able to fit on bolt per side for the deflector. I could fix it one I get a little more time. All in all, seems like a decent enough rack. I'm annoyed about having to customize it right out of the box...
Any pointers or any opinions on trying to get somewhat of a refund?
Also, the "powder coat" it comes with is terrible.

Just curious- did you reach out to them before ordering to request the No numbers, black hardware, and with the shark fin cutout? I assumed it would come like that stock.

How's the finish holding up for y'all? Saw some a few reviews online that mentioned rust after a couple months.

Gotcha. Definitely not expecting perfect for the price! Do you think throwing a coat of plastidip or bed liner spray over it would help?

I would install everything, then leave the mounting brackets, remove the rack and then bed line it.
Make sure it fits how its suppose to incase you have to drill holes like I did before you bed line it. Platlsti dip isnt the strongest so after going through a car wash and getting beat by the brushes, it will peal. I'd go with bed liner.

I bet you read mine. My less than two month old rack looks horrible. When I tightened the bolts I could hear the paint cracking, some of the corners were missing paint all together and after mounting my rifle cases to the top and then un mounting them there is rust all under them.

I wouldn’t buy it expecting not to do some work. The cost of materials can’t be beat the workmanship is where your gonna have to come out of pocket even more. It all depends on how much you value your time. For me I should have went ahead and bought the prinsu which I plan on doing. For many others it’s been a great rack. But the trend is starting to pick up again of people that got racks with missing parts, poor paint, etc.

Honestly I wish I had waited, saved, and gotten something that was better quality. I saw the price and jumped on it. Mine installed ok, some fitment issues and chipping paint, etc. It will serve it's purpose for a while until I decide I want something better. Buy once, cry once and all that.

Thanks for the input everyone. I'll likely wait, save, and do the whole buy once cry once.
