I picked my habitat up in may 2017, it was the 33rd production model. I see what your saying now, I have the solid panels. That two panels set up was very early model. I got to see it person and am glad I don’t have the two panels setup. Looked to me like the elements can get in between the panels.

That would be my concern as well. I’ve had enough issues dealing with water on trailers, I’ll take a solid piece every day. Solid panels here too but I just got mine this spring. I’m still a newbie to the habitat crew.

thank you for sharing that. I was very curious to see what they’re about to do to my Hab. Looks like a little reconstructive surgery to me.

Thanksgiving 2016 w/ v1.0 side panels. Never had an issue with leaks.

..looks a good fix to that corner. I don't have the cracking prob yet. I have been thinking of bolting a bracket in further up the panel/corner, and placing a turnbuckle unit tied in to a bracket in the forward most bed-bolt...to keep the Habitat from lifting off the bedrail from leverage. my fix mostly helped.IMG_4017.jpg

I installed some from ath fab about a year ago... keep in mind the crossbar near cab is removed for hab install so you have to make your own. They have not helped with the cracking corner but I really like having them in there for extra tie down and spots to mount things.

yes - I’m selling mine. We love it, but moved back east and need something that I can use for winter camping. I’ll post more info tomorrow morning.

Selling my 2.5 year old Habitat - I've moved back east and need something that I can easily heat. If I were still living on the west coast I would not be selling this, it is a great camper and we really like all the room it offers.

    Asking $7600

    The Habitat has the following:

    - Cab slider window $360
    - Roof Rack (3 bars) on adjustable track $804
    - 12V power system (1 x 12V power port, 1 x double USB, 2 x LED lights) $375
    - Interior carpeting
    - Color match to vehicle $1,300 - BLACK
    - Rear liftgate insert window $290
    - Mattress is like new - we replaced it with an Exped Duo

Currently located in Western Massachusetts but can deliver or meet somewhere depending on distance.

Why don't you install a diesel heater? They're like $150, which is low considering you spent over 10k on that thing and taking a nearly 30% loss.
