It was eventful, winched myself at least 20 times. Helped others to winch at least 100 times and we played balance games between couple of winches to prevent rollovers etc... lots of walking to hook up to a trees and angles with snatch blocks. Good fitness exercise.

If you weren't there you missed the "biggest winch fest of the 2020" so far haha.

Exactly as Eugene described... lots of winching but still passable for the most part. The Tacomas held their own with the Jeeps I think.

So we went out this morning for another round. Was another day of the usual amazing scenery, some breaking trail, some trail damage, some almost trail damage...And recovering Jeeps. Good times.

    Hmmmm.....

I remember talking about installing a winch, that it would be handy if I made it to this trip....

BUT THEN I got some poo-poo's and nay-nay's,
that I was some mall princess ,
for even thinking a winch would be even needed,
    on such beginner trails....

    I won't mention name's,
    nooooo pointing a finger either....

    You sure this shouldn't have been re-named to;

    Winter Wheeling Winch Fest

I wouldn’t consider going out on those trails or winter wheeling period without a winch. The non winch people had to be strategically placed in the group.

Solo driving in the winter i'm fine with.
Solo wheeling in the winter is terrifying.

i can taste the salt from the other side of the city

    So much salt...

    Snowbanks are gone...

My front lawn has a mud puddle on it...

I think I'll go walk around in that 'till I feel better...

Looks like 3rd gen bedsides are stronger. Didn't deform with three grown men hanging off it.
