    Thanks! I'll look into it. At this point I dont even need it. Engine is staying nice and cold because of the better designed thermostat. Fans hardly kicking on and because of that- mileage is noticeably up as a nice additional perk even though I dropped down to a 2.3" pulley at the same time

    Speaking of 2.3 pulleys, during a high speed logging session for @JustDSM today on HPTuners, I observed during a wide open throttle run 15 PSI. :eek: Other runs netted me 13.3, and 14.6 PSI. I have officially crossed into the 1 bar club gentlemen! :thumbsup:

    Mine also ran much cooler moving from the Motorad 160 to the Mishimoto 160.

    I’m not 100 percent committed on the 160 quite yet. If I was only racing or towing then I would be all about it. But daily driving in Colorado?

    Installed my mishimoto 160 today and took out the URD 170 that came with my UCon. So far so good, temps are a little cooler now

    That's awesome, you have put those through their paces and theyve proven solid. Makes me feel good about running the 455s with a 7th and water meth w/o the fpr mod. Probably overkill, but safety is the name of the game for me. Was it especially cold out when you hit the 15lbs? Ive only ever seen about 12-13 with my 2.3. Im at 2k feet elevation

    I've always been a fan of pushing the envelope and proving people wrong on the strength of OE equipment. It was about 55 degrees out this morning. Nothing outside of the usual.

    Back when I was in the LS engine game I ran a high lift reverse split cam on my GTO using GMs OE yellow valve springs. People said it was going to blow up. I ran the vehicle for over 50,000 miles revving the balls out of it all day. Needless to say, some of those naysayers were EXTRA bitter that I proved them wrong and was breaking down all sorts of "required supporting mods for your mods" barriers.

    Most likely not. Given that you make less boost at higher elevations that also requires less fuel dumpage on WOT runs.

    Those duty cycles are with the truck running leaner than what we're targeting. That is probably accounting for the difference. We're about ~10% off target AFR, so duty cycle will go up as that is corrected.
