Parked Rang Rover Moves

Its a 1993 Range Rover. It rolls when i put it in Park. I feel it in-gauge, but it will slowly roll, like a clutch slipping. Any Ideas on what could be the problem?

OP, You say the clutch is slipping so I'm assuming it's a stick shift, but you also say when you put it in park? Please confirm if it's manual or auto.

 

Its a automatic. The slipping clutch was just an analogy. Sorry for the confusion.

 

OK, well it sounds like your torque converter is not working properly, and it's not grabbing like it should. Or something internally in the transmission case is not working right.
The only thing I can recommend doing is an oil change, but that may do nothing, or may delay the problem for a short while. But you never know, could fix the problem.

I think you're going to have to end up taking it in to a transmission shop and they'll take a look at it. Could get lucky, could be something simple and cheap, bad linkage or something, but usually not.

Well, I guess you out did me on that. From what he wrote, it sounded like it slipped from when he put it into drive, but I guess I read it wrong.

You also completely changed your first comment, was a little more harsh towards me about what I said it was, but that's alright. As long as we figure out what it is.
