With a test light you can figure it out. Put the test lights ground clip onto a ground and put the test lights probe into one of the plugs 4 contacts, go into the cab and start turning things on and then off individually. IF it's hooked up to something with power eventually the test light will light. AFTER you've verified which wires have power when you can see if there is a ground wire within the group by putting your test lights clip on a +12v wire and then probing the contacts that don't have +12v regardless of any switch position and if the contact is a ground the test light will light up.

Grab a 9v battery and connect it. See what it does.

Could also be for an interior light or like you said, a remote for locking and unlocking.
I've never had a camper shell with a remote for locking and unlocking so unfortunately I can't help you with that.

Tried a little vinyl mod to the visor airbag warning stickers. Not quite a great fit but my driver side will be ok maybe. If it sticks. Still not certain of it and will check in the morning lol. Passenger side is bigger than the kit I ordered which is for the 2016. I took a chance tho 3C07B197-A4BB-46D2-8416-F8FEDE0E28E8.jpg

Retrofitted a cheap $30 ebay wind fairing onto my thule cross bars. Used their brackets and drilled holes in them and the thule bars. Very pleased with the difference in cabin noise:taco:

Dobinson’s coils and shocks. SOS sliders, ditch light brackets, and front skid. Rigid ditch lights. BFG KO(dos) More minor stuff.
Theoretically, if a hot diff submerges in cooler water the breather could suck water in the diff. Extend the breather to a higher elevation and if you have water that high, you got problems anyway.

Two fold. One, it relocates the breather higher than factory. Two, it replaces the one way valve on the diff with a two way, making water crossings less potentially destructive on the diff

A little hard to see since it’s still a little light out, but did the Illuminated 4x4 Switch Mod today. Personally I’m still a fan of the amber.
