EV have tons of torque off the line. Other than that I don't see the benefit. Maybe 10+ years from now when this tech is improved. We are in the baby stages and people buying ev trucks now are the Guinea pigs. I wish EV many failures as this shit is moving too fast, the gov is begging for this to be normal. Everyone driving EVs. Not me though, fuck ev. Only one I'd buy would be a Tesla car. Just for shits because they are fast. My truck doesn't need to do 1.4 seconds in the 1/4 mile. Just needs to haul loads or hold my camping gear. You tech gen Z boys are killing ICE. Go buy a Prius for fuk sake.

I considered it cause my company has free charging at certain power plants and office complexes, but a coworker got a 3 and smacked a deer. He's without his car for at a minimum of 6 months, he has no idea when he will actually get it back and stuck with a rental. That type of repair time without getting totaled is just insane. We have a repair center/store in Nashville too. More mainstream companies would be nice in the EV field.

Is this where someone says “Okay, Boomer?”

You “wish EV many failures.” Doesn’t make a damn bit of sense.

Oh yeah and I bet he only is covered for 30 days of rental. Believe it or not the body shop I work at is Tesla certified. They have gotten better, but not all parts are readily available like a honda civic or a 4runner. If you crash one of these new cars with the aluminum body, ev bs. Your vehicle will be in the shop anywhere from 1-6 months.

It's the part that you wish electric vehicles to fail which really puzzles me.

Yes. Dodge always leads the pack in innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction. Can’t wait for a Dodge EV.
