Hot Wheels

Got a few more Gassers to post. Ill probably photograph some of the stuff out in the garage that is going bye bye this spring for the next postings I make. The 33 Willys panel is a snap together kit from 10 years ago. The 62 Fury is a old Johann Kit that is worth some money before I tubbed the rear end and put a straight axle on it. I picked that one up in the early 80s. I also have a bone stock red version of this kit as well. I have 20-25 Johann kits in my collection. They are rare. The 57 Fairlane is a recent addition.

I think I'm going to start doing some real rider swaps. Been looking and just in the last year or so there has been a large increase in wheel/tire variety. Have plenty of cars that would be dope with RR's. Now just have to pick the cars and style.

You’ll love them Jonas they are pretty cool. I got to see a real one years ago at the world of wheels in Boston Ma. Cool to look at in person.

 

This should be the last of my Gasser pics at least for now. Starting taking pictures of what is in the garage. This is ridiculous what I have out there I'm gonna let go. The cars pictured are the 40 Willy's of Big John Mazmanian and Stone Woods and Cook that I built 5 or 6 years ago. I should be embarrassed to admit that I built the Volkswagen because it was a basket case to begin with. I just had an urge to take a junk 85 Regal chassis and graph it to the Bug and then tub the rear end and drop a 455 with a tunnel ram into it. There is nothing pretty about it. It was junk when I took it out of the box. I cant believe I got it to fit. The driver sits in the back seat now.

Seems like there are 5 or 6 guys who really like this page. I enjoy seeing what else is out there that I dont see here in Ohio. Around here we have several large swap meets at Hartville, Canfield ,Pittsburgh and Randolph and those guys troll all the stores and clean off the shelves. Its rare to find anything anymore.
I have even seen them fighting over Hot Wheels at WalMart. They'll block the display if they think your trying to look and I have seen them fill a shopping cart and take it somewhere else to go through.
I pick up most of my diecasts and models from yard sales, auctions and estate sales. I wont pay the prices they charge. They also seem to know when new deliveries come in.

These are some of the stuff in the garage that I will be parting with soon. All 63 Galaxies in the first pic. I know there are 2 or 3 more I couldn't get to at the time. The others are all from the 90s. I lost interest in Nascar after Dale Earnhardt died and this stuff has just been sitting in boxes. These were the first ones I pulled out . There is a little bit of everything. Not just Nascar.
