What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Washed and waxed it. I think the original clear coat is about gone since the wax made a difference for sure.

 

it was for lock/unlocking it. took me for ever to wire it up cause i couldnt figure out what was wrong. at the end my wiring was right, just that the inline fuse it came with was missing the fuse. almost shot myself.

 

What’s the TRD exhaust sound like? Is it fairly aggressive still or not so much?

 

Alot of people have spent hours chasing down problems because of a blown or missing fuse.

 

New door lock actuator motor. Pretty straight forward process, just make sure it goes back the way it came out.

 

White is a single stage paint for Toyota, I pretty sure they have another, black, but I'm not really sure about that.

 

See something new every day. Pretty surprised to see a motor fail, as opposed to stripped plastic gear teeth or worn bushing.

 

Made new mounting brackets for awning dropping it down more level with roof rack so it wasnt sticking up so high, moved it forwards, set it up for first time

 

Some of the higher RPMs are a little much. Haha but overall yes, I would liken it to sex.

 

I like the white out on the tires with the stormtrooper look. That’s the plan for mine when it comes to new tire time

Finished the retrofit headlights. Mled Morimoto and fogs to match. Lots of swearing, but worth the effort. Great lighting down the long dusty road!

Good god man...go watch literally any other one! But my personal favorite is Rogue One. And it's a standalone movie. No prequels or sequels
