I swear I looked into getting their Pillar pod about 3 years ago, and it was crap. Didn’t fit right, had to trim to get the handle right, and the gauges. And the color was well off.

Wondering what any of you guys that are running aftermarket bumpers and a winch are doing to relocate this pump.
Ideas or pics would be appreciated

    Big changes happening here

Picked up a supercharged taco to replace my last one.
And now i find myself going down the rabbit hole that is this thread. So much info to catch up on and so many new mods I didn’t even know were out there for these things.
    Got a lot to learn

oh and a lot of this.......:spending:

Welcome to the party! The rabbit hole goes very very deep, but I feel like there is enough info on here where you can kind of get a plan of what you want to do and what's realistic to expect. So much progress has been made it's truly awesome.

Ahh yeah that's right, it was him.

I really haven't seen @HolyHandGrenade in a while.. I wonder where he went. I hope he didn't run into engine issues!

The boosted subdivision of Tacomaworld has gained an IMMENSE upgrade in knowledge and mod availability over the last two years due to this thread and all participating members in it. Everyone has contributed to stellar findings and tips which has made this thing what it is today.

Believe it or not I have not dropped a lot on the road to my newly made 15 PSI. A Qwickchange, a handful of belt experimentations, new tensioner assembly with a doubler bearing roller, new intake, tranny mods to the valve body, cam gears, tuning and gauges is all it's taken me. It sounds like a lot, but it really is not and if anything I have spent a lot of labor and log time in order to get to where I am today. It's a stellar journey and it's nice to be a part of the high 300's potentially even 400 HP club now. I feel like I have the power I did on my old GTO and that says a lot because that thing I modded to have a nasty cammed HP Tuned max effort NA V8.

There is SO much info here it's surreal! Everyone has managed to keep it lighthearted and not turn the thread to shit either which is the real blessing, you know, since we are on Tacomaworld and all, and this is.. well Tacomaworld.

It's like a real performance subdivision it's almost like an underground high horsepower club.

I can get some pics during the.day. I went passenger side body to hang mine but a couple others shortened tubing and went driver side to get it out of the way.

I get that. Different environment from where mine operates. Houston is hot and humid AF in the summer.

I don’t have any pics, but I was able to move it just enough to still use the included hoses.

My truck is for sale, and we are moving. Haven’t been online much.

No winch for me and I built my bumper so I built around the factory location. I know @XPOTRPR recently moved his to accommodate a Pelfreybilt front bumper and he should have pictures available. But pretty sure he just moved it slightly drivers side and was able to use the original hoses. Maybe had to shorten one or something.

Yessir. @tacomgee I moved mine horizontally over towards the driver side, just used 2 sheet metal screws. I then flipped the upper hose and cut it short. Cut the lower hose short as well. Let me find the pics..

Stock ish location. I think I may have moved it up some in this pic seeing if it would fit.
    IMG_20191221_144916_MP.jpg

Moved over to the new location..

    IMG_20191221_163733_MP.jpg

You can see in this pic that I flipped the upper hose, and just need to cut it to length..
    IMG_20191221_163753_MP.jpg

The lower hose just needs to be cut to length..
    IMG_20191221_163801_MP.jpg

And here it is all complete..
    IMG_20191221_173814_MP.jpg

This clears my Smittybilt x20 in my Pelfrey.

I went passenger with mine. No extension of wiring, just plumbing. Bracket hangs through body mount.
