MGM TRD Pro Tundra I was looking at was $57k, and still wasn’t that nice. Still dated and while that’s cool in some aspects they really do lose sales because of it.

Seriously, that roll down rear window is the bomb. With the side windows, sunroof and rear window down it's better than a convertible. There is no buffeting, the wind just blows straight through with very little noise. Its probably my favorite feature.

Tacoma model lifecycle is far younger than tundra. Wait til the big boy gets updates and a new drivetrain.

I can't speak to the Tundra Pro but you can get 13-15% off the MSRP typically. My Platinum was considerably less than a similarly equipped F150 or I would probably be driving one of those.

I begged for a discount, because I really had my heart set on that truck. Shopped around and not one dealer I spoke with was willing to come down at all on a 2020 Pro. The truck is still sitting in the same spot at the dealership over a month later. Oh well, I love the truck I bought and think I made the right decision for me. Those MGM Pros are straight sex though...

Gas. I would have to fork out almost double what I spend in gas now.
Once Toyota unveils the new gen tundra with its rumored 3.5tt, I’ll be heading to the dealer for sure to check it out.
also, minor thing but I noticed the pro at my local dealer didn’t even have dual climate control?

The Tundra is basically a 2007 Dinosaur that gets dismal fuel mileage. Not much has changed in 13 years as Toyota has basically neglected it. A new V6 2022 Tundra is around the corner however.

    1,000/18 = 55 1/2 gal mo
    1,000/14 = 71 1/2 gal mo

    16 gal/mo x $2.05 = $33/mo

I only have 2,500 miles on my truck in six months so...

I liked my Tacoma better but fuck the whole gas thing.

At lest here the resale on a Tundra is dismal. Taco or F150 if you plan to sell it.

Because the tundra lacks a locker or any of the off-road technology the Tacoma has. The current tundra is a dinosaur and is lacking in many ways. I’d you are going to buy I’d wait for the release of the next gen.
