I turn 16 in a week and just bought a 1st gen

    What’s up Tacoma world.
    I just traded a 2008 Scion xB with 190,xxx miles for a 1998 Toyota Tacoma ext. cab with 132,xxx miles.
    Pretty awesome trade if you ask me. I got a lot planned for the truck so stay tuned.
    Planning on doing a one purchase ball out. I will save for a year or two and then get nice wheels tires and a stage 3/4 suspension system.
    Only upgrade I am doing now are interior things. Ex. New steering rack, shift knob, nice sound system with 12 in sub.
    Give me any advice and ideas as I continue adding miles to the tacoma

    If you turn 16 in a week and already owned a Scion - what's the driving age where you live?

    I'm in Canada and it's minimum 16 here, so this is news to me.

    A few OE parts from fancy trucks
    Dunno what a stage 3/4 suspension system is. But you should be aware that our five lug suspensions are nothing like the 6 lug trucks (4wd & prerunners).

    Learn how to service and maintain the truck and it should serve you well
